Some sightseeing routes include the monastery route in La Rioja Alta, where the monasteries of Yuso and Suso, the birthplace of Castilian, are worth a visit, or the route of the dinosaurs in La Rioja Baja. Also, Haro is nestled in the so-called “Way of the North” on the Jacobean Route.
The municipality of Haro is found in the northern part of the peninsular and occupies the furthest area to the North West of La Rioja giving this town a strategic and privileged situation. It borders the provinces of Álava and Burgos and has excellent infra-structure making this an easily-accessible area which is extremely popular. It is an area to which many people travel on trips taken around the North of Spain.
Its location, between different geographical areas of huge appeal, such as the banks of the Ebro and the Obarenes hills, gives it an enormous richness and the area has scenic variety as well as great natural value. All of this enables our visitors to enjoy a large number of tourist attractions, where we have a privileged climate and spectacular scenery.
